Evacuated Animals Find Refuge at SJC Equestrian Center

A burro named Curley and nine horses are sent to stables in San Juan Capistrano during the Falls Fire.

Nine horses and a noisy burro named Curley were taken in by the Ortega Equestrian Center after being evacuated from ranches and homes affected by Monday's Falls Fire.

"The burro is a kick," equestrian center honcho Kathy Holman said. "Likes to bray!"
