Tailgating, 'Caddyshack,' Puppies and More

You have no excuses not to have fun in San Juan Capistrano this weekend.

1. Tailgate time: The tailgate party at San Juan Hills High School starts at 5 p.m. The game against Thousand Oaks starts at 7 p.m.

2. Friday night giggles: Here’s the line-up for today’s West Coast Film Festival movies at the Regency Theater:

  • 3 p.m. A double family feature, Black Beauty and Looney Tunes Back in Action
  • 7 p.m. Caddyshack
  • Followed by the after-party at the Vintage Steakhouse for appetizers and a no-host bar. 

3. Music for the weekend: At the Swallow’s Inn this weekend, Rodeo Revival will play tonight and Third Rail Blue Saturday afternoon. Five Vines will welcome back its owners at 6:30 tonight after a 10-day trip to Italy. Music and Italian wine is promised. It’s the last concert for the summer of 2013 at Hamilton Oaks Vineyard and Winery. Between 2-7 p.m. Sunday, scheduled to play is the Tony Guerrero Quartet, Behind the Scenes and Kelly’s Lot. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased here.

4. Who couldn’t love this face? It’s doggy and kitty adoption time, sponsored by the ARK of San Juan 10 a.m. Saturday at PetCo.
