No. 18: Local and Legendary Musicians

It used to be that you'd look for the red double-decker bus to find the Coach House, tucked in an industrial-like center off of Camino Capistrano. Now the concert hall that serves up dinner, music, comedy and legends is well enough known to draw crowds even if they're wearing blind folds.

Missiles of October and Heartbreaker, a tribute to Pat Benatar, are only a fraction of the number of local bands that play here.

One legend occasionally on the bill: Debbie Reynolds. Popular local bands are a mainstay, including This Side Up and Seventh Son. Even ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro flies in from Hawaii to add his name to the list of up and coming legends.
