More than 60 Businesses Signed Up for Patch Workshop

Registration is now closed for our Nov. 28 workshop about how to use Patch and other social media.

Originally published Oct. 18.

On Wednesday Patch staffers will be getting together with dozens of local business owners to help them learn more about social media and how to use our website.

The workshop is from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Nov. 28 at the San Juan Hills Golf Club, which is also a sponsor. Registration has been closed.

Known as Main Street U, Patch launched this workshop series in January and has reached nearly 400 business owners and nonprofit organizations statewide.

Reviews of previous Patch Main Street U events have been stellar:

(Watch the accompanying video to hear more about MSU from business owners and Patch staff.)

As part of the registration process, we make sure local businesses have a Patch Directory listing on their hometown Patch site, a free service that you can use to better promote your business. And if you claim your listing, there's even more you can do. (Here's some more information about claiming listings.)

Participating business owners will also have a chance to sign up for a free one-on-one marketing consultation with a Patch expert.

If you have questions, email Patch West Coast MSU Coordinator Kari Hulac, Kari@Patch.com.
