BLOG: Deputy Dog says 'Hello' SJC!

Deputy Dog Gus is the unofficial Deputy of San Juan Capistrano. He was given this title when his folks, Señor San Juan and Ms. Fiesta 2012 were elected by the Fiesta Association at last's years BBQ.

Deputy Dog Gus here, saying "Howdy" to everyone and welcome to my new blog!

My folks, Señor San Juan and Ms. Fiesta, have been so busy with grand openings, ribbon cuttings and spreading "the spirit of San Juan" around that they haven't taken me to town lately ... so-o-o-o-o, here I am writing a blog to let the good people of San Juan Capistrano know I'm alive and kicking and will be visiting town on a regular basis to give all my four-legged furry friends the inside "scoop" on the pet-friendly establishments in town.

My favorite place so far is the – it has qualities to earn "four paws up" in my book: cold water and lots of bushes! I've been told that the new is supposed to be very pet-friendly, so, John, better get ready 'cause I'm a coming to your place next!

Ali, when I visited for the Pet Foundation fundraising, I really enjoyed that big doggie water bowl (guess you call it a fountain), the shady patio and the food was delicious.

When you see me in town, please say feel free to pet me or take my picture. I love representing San Juan Capistrano. Happy Trails!
