Frugal Family: Discounts on Ice Cream, Car Washes, Pizza

This column will be dedicated to giving five great local deals each week that will help your family’s bottom line, and since we do the scouting for you, you can save time as well as money.

 3. VALENTINE'S PIZZA AT PAPA MURPHY'S IN DANA POINT, SAN CLEMENTE

Deal: This fun and budget-wise pizza to-go is fresh out of your own oven at a bargain price of $6.99 for a large. Coupons for other pizzas are available from the website.
Good through: Feb. 14

 4.  WASH AND GO AT

Deal: If you are in a hurry, this car wash offers Exterior Only for $7.95, a savings of $5. The new service is available any time, but bring in coupon from the Money Mailer. 
Good through: Current coupon expires March 19

5.   COMFORTING DEALS AT IN SAN CLEMENTE

Deal: For $26, Celebrity Cleaners will launder comforters. Down comforters are $30 (add $3 for queen and king sizes). The company uses Green Earth organic dry-cleaning system. Free pickup and delivery is part of service. Coupons are available in the Money Mailer.
Good through: March 19
