Five years of broken promises and a government operating without checks and balances lead us to the June 3rd Primary Elections.

The stock market has reached new highs. Some saying this is proof we are on the road to economic recovery. It is probably premature to make such a judgment.

The Labor Participation rate is the lowest since the 1970’s, and despite the judgment of some, this is not the result of baby boomers retiring. One of the higher levels of employment is the group of people over the age of 55. This morning’s business report shows consumer confidence is down. The morning business news reported Siemens joined the long list of companies to announce large layoffs. Despite record low levels of mortgage rates the housing market is making very slow progress. Companies are making larger profits with fewer employees. We are in trouble and have a limited time to act.

The answer to all these issues is more jobs. The answer for Main Street is more jobs. The first step to putting Americans back to work is lowering the Corporate Tax Rate from 35% to 15%. A 15% rate would result in the return of billions of dollars now being held in offshore accounts. This money would be invested in commercial infrastructure to increase manufacturing in the U.S. The U.S. is enjoying a renaissance in oil production and natural gas. Lower tax rates, low cost energy and U.S. technology will set the stage to bring home the manufacturing jobs we lost the last twenty years to China, Mexico, Taiwan and India. The final piece of the puzzle will be returning EPA regulations to 2000 levels. Increasing the minimum wage to an artificial level is the wrong answer, the right answer is becoming business friendly.

We've had a chance to watch how a Democratic Party can change this country. You cannot keep your insurance if you like it! The Democratic Party policies do not help the poor, minorities or females. Look at the numbers and you will see these group have been hurt by the feel good, but unworkable policies of the Democratic Majority. The gap between the wealthy and the working people has been increasing the last five years. Look into those states with low unemployment, increasing jobs and you will find Republican Governors pushing for low taxes and business friendly policies. Pay attention to the reputation of America in the rest of the world. The world’s governments are losing respect for the most productive, charitable and successful country in history.

Despite uninformed calls for it not to be true, the Business of America remains Business. Here in California we see businesses leaving, taxes increasing and increasing regulations in our everyday life. More government and more taxes equals fewer jobs and more pain. We need change.

June 3rd we can start repairing the damage inflicted on the Country the last five years. We can vote out incumbents who voted for The Affordable Care Act, Cash for Clunkers, increased debt and higher taxes. We can turn away those who stand against Capitalism and the private markets. We can reject those who would determine what our children have for lunch, those who close down kid’s lemonade stands and those who teach government reliance. In their place we can elect citizens who believe taxpayers know best how to spend their own money. Citizens should be allowed to choose the type schools their kid’s attend. Citizens know what foods they prefer and what type health insurance they want. We can vote for those who will work to rebuild a nation which is the gold standard for individual freedoms.

Americans tend to mind their own business and generally rely on elected officials to offer protection and equal opportunity. This trust is hard earned and easy to lose. Now, I believe Americans are starting to wake up to a government placing the needs of Appointed Officials over those of Veterans. People are becoming aware of a government which feels wealth redistribution should be their major goal. Despite an embargo of news by the main street media, people are finding out Appointed Government Officials are using bureaucracies to target opposition to one party, while enabling the other party appointees to use the force of government against political opposition. Really, the force of government against a main stream political party.

Look closely at the Obama Administration and see how many of them served in our military. Check out how many were in private industry. Then look at how many were community organizers, liberal lawyers and college professors. We have five years of people with ideas which are proven not to work. Making speeches is easy, governing is hard work. Hard work is not an ethic this Administration highlights.

On June 3rd I recommend you go down the ballot and vote a straight Republican Ticket. There is no doubt the Republicans have major issues, but at least there will be people with real world experience trying to return the United States to its role of world leader.
