Not too late to join the party!!!

Another short blog as I am writing this on my phone.  Sitting here enjoying the Relay.  Not nearly as hot as we were afraid it would be.  Many other people must have had the same idea as there are not nearly as many people as in the past.  They are missing a lot!  There are lot more campers than previous events, so I think things will not be as quiet as we are used to.  The sound of live music is interspersed with laughter from the kids camp.  The swirling colors of the dancers.  The feel of the water from the splash booth as another person gets dunked. (Current Mayor Taylor dunked former Mayor Kramer first thing today!) The smells of the food from the campsites is almost overwhelming and it taste even better!  It is a virtual feast for all the senses today.  Cannot wait for the luminaria ceremony at 9 pm.  Hope you can join us then, but make sure you get there early.  The power bras from the Terrible Ta-Ta’s are selling out fast!  And if you get the munchies, be sure to stop by the Strutters booth and buy some Pecan Pie Muffins.  The more we sell, the fewer I have to take back home!!!  I will be walking from midnight to 4 am, but I will be happy to take a break and sell you some!
