The funeral for Melissa Rae Sutor, 28, is scheduled for July 5.
Sutor's death, a suicide, played out in a very public way. She had gone missing and her family sought the public's help in locating her March 31. Sheriff's deputies found her the next day.
According to her family, Melissa was born on Sept. 24, 1984 in San Clemente, California. She is the beautiful daughter of Raymond and Terri Sutor and sister of Ashley Sutor.
She graduated valedictorian from San Clemente High School in 2001. She graduated from San Francisco State University in 2006 with a bachelor of science degree in corporate finance.
A funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday, July 5. The Mass will be held at Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano, 31522 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675, (949) 234-1360.
Her family reports that Melissa touched the lives of many people with her caring personality, infectious smile and creative sense of fashion. She is immensely loved and will be forever missed by her family and friends.
