Armed and Wanted Man Arrested

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a case involving missing jewelry, a man finds a terrible place to tinker with a car, and a group of troublesome men is reported.

At 5:44 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 22, deputies noticed a suspicious person near the cross streets of Calle San Luis and Calle San Juan. Deputies searched the pedestrian and discovered he was wanted, armed and dangerous. The 22-year-old man was arrested and is currently in custody with no bail amount posted.

At 12:04 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 22, deputies received a report about a grand theft in the 32500 block of Paseo Adelanto. The caller claimed an unknown person had stolen jewelry from them.

At 11:31 a.m. Thursday Jan. 23, a caller reported a traffic hazard near the cross streets of Del Obispo Street and Camino Del Avion. The caller said a man had the hood to his white Ford open and was working on the vehicle in the middle of an intersection.

At 7:44 p.m. Thursday Jan. 23, a caller reported a group of suspicious people in the 32100 block of Paseo Carolina. A group of men was drinking and doing drugs on the corner of a street. The caller later called the sheriff’s office back to report the group had moved. Deputies arrived and detained one of the men. No arrest was made.
