CRIME REPORT: Intoxicated Prowler, Rock-Throwing Neighbor

Here are various crimes pulled from the San Juan Capistrano police log over the past few days.

At 4:22 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported a prowler broke into his residence in the 31500 block of Sundance Drive. The caller said the prowler had climbed over the backyard wall and was rummaging through things in the yard. According to the report, the caller had detained the prowler and said he was in his 30s and appeared intoxicated. 

At 12:16 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance near Del Obispo Street and Ortega Highway. A man told police from the that he was assaulted by one of the bouncers at the . The fire department was requested.

At 8:30 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 26700 block of Paseo Loreto. The caller was having a party and said the neighbors who live behind her residence were throwing rocks, and hit one of her guests in the head.

At 5:53 p.m. Saturday, a 33-year-old male was arrested near La Zanja and Los Rios streets. The man was already on parole and was taken into custody. 

At 4:46 p.m. Friday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 32600 block of Via Los Santos. A family’s 82-year-old father, who has Alzheimer's, had just been released from the hospital and was threatening to "blow his daughter's head off." The family was possibly going to request assistance with transporting the man back to the hospital.

At 12:23 p.m. Friday, a caller reported  trespasser in the 31500 block of Camino Capistrano. There was a transient woman in the parking lot of the who refused to leave when asked

At 9:46 p.m. Thursday, police arrested a 26-year-old man near Camino Las Ramblas and Avenida Pescador. The man was riding a bicycle when police detained him and discovered he was carrying drugs. He was taken into custody and held on $20,000 bail. 

At 3:39 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 29400 block of Ridge Road. The report said three men and one woman who all appeared to be minors, were attempting to stab one of their mothers with a screwdriver. Their was no reported arrest. 

At 11:31 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance near Via Barcelona and Calle La Purisima intersection. There was a man and a woman fighting in the street. No weapons were involved and the subjects were not believed to be on drugs.  

At 5:36 p.m. Wednesday, police contacted a person near the Paseo Adelanto and Del Obispo Street intersection. There was a woman in a gray vehicle possibly having a seizure. The Orange County Fire Authority also responded to the call.
