Mystery of the Missing Undies Solved

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: These are selected reports form the San Juan Capistrano Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days.

The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.

At 12:33 p.m. Monday, deputies arrested a 43-year-old man near the Camino Capistrano and Del Obispo streets. The report stated the man had a previously existing warrant and was taken into custody with a bail amount of $15,000.

At 5:11 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a fireworks violation in the 32700 block of Alipaz street. The report stated that several minors were lighting illegal fireworks along the creek bed. The minors were later seen taking off down a bike trail.

At 2:23 p.m. Sunday, a caller reportedly found some lost property in the 31800 block of Plaza Drive. The informant stated he had found numerous undergarments behind a location on Plaza Drive. 

At 11:11 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 26500 block of Orangewood Road. The report stated that at least four minors were seen smoking illegal drugs. The minors were last seen heading westbound on Trabuco Creek Road.

At 12:19 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported a suspicious person in the 26400 block of Kimberly Way. The report stated that a woman in her mid-20s with blond hair was walking up and down the street yelling and screaming. The informant was upset because this has been a reoccurring problem. 

At 5:05 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a petty theft in the 31800 block of Del Obispo Street. The report stated that a woman was taken into custody for stealing from the Ralph’s grocery store. There was no report of an arrest. 

At 9:38 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported an indecent exposure in the 31800 block of Del Obispo Street. 

At 8:58 p.m. Friday, a caller reported a firework violation in the 32600 block of Via Los Santos. The informant reportedly saw a group of minors shooting off illegal fireworks near the Paseo Toscana-Vivente De Marlita intersection. 

At 6:54 p.m. Friday deputies arrested a 64-year-old man near the intersection of Camino Las Ramblas and Camino De Vista. The report stated the man was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He  was taken into custody and has since been released on a bond. 

At 7:37 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 32000 block of Via Tonada. The informant was reportedly disturbed by loud music that was coming from a Mexican restaurant
