Parking Lot Follies: Thefts, Drinking and a Garage Sale

These are selected reports from the San Juan Capistrano Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days.

The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.

At 12:56 p.m. Sunday, deputies assisted firefighters in the 25700 block of Compass Way. The report stated that firefighters were dispatched to assist an elderly man who was having trouble breathing

At 9:52 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported reported that a driver in a black Honda Accord appeared to be intoxicated near the 30800 block of Avenida De La Vista. 

At 6:39 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance near the Avenida La Vista and La Zanja Street. The informant was reportedly disturbed by a loud party that was occurring in an ally way on the south side of La Zanja. 

At 1:24 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 31500 block of Calle La Purisima. The report stated that a man and a woman were heard in a heated verbal argument. The informant reported that a child could be heard screaming and crying. 

At 1:08 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a burglary in the 32100 block of San Juan Creek Road. The report stated that a burglary occurred in the San Juan Hills Golf Club parking lot. There was no further report.

At 1 p.m. Saturday, deputies assisted a citizen with reporting a vehicle that was vandalized near the Marie Callendars

At 4:09 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 27200 block of Paseo Espada. The report stated that the owner of a large white truck had set up a garage sale near Bravo Burger and was causing a disturbance. 

At 6:16 p.m. Friday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 32100 block of Paseo Carolina. The informant reported a group of men who were drinking alcohol in a parking lot. Deputies were dispatched the four men were detained.
