68-Year-Old Woman Busted for DUI

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, grand theft scooter, a woman is arrested for starting fights and fireworks violations.

These are selected reports from the San Juan Capistrano Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days. The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.

At 1:48 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a petty theft in the 31300 block of El Horno Street. The informant reported that several minors stole a Razor scooter. There was no report of an arrest. 

At 6:41 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 31500 block of Los Rios Street. The informant was reportedly disturbed by a subject who appeared to be repeatedly doing burnouts in a vehicle

At 1:29 a.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 31500 block of Calle La Purisima. The informant was disturbed by a loud and out-of-control party in the area. The subjects were drinking alcohol and being loud in a garage. 

At 1:29 Tuesday, a caller reported a fireworks violation in the 31300 block of Los Rios street. The  report stated that several subjects were shooting off illegal fireworks in the informant’s area.

At 12:46 a.m. Tuesday, deputies arrested a 19-year-old woman in the 31000 block of Calle San Diego. The woman was taken into custody because she was starting fights and being uncooperative with deputies. There was no posted bail amount. 

At 10:55 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a fireworks violation near the intersection of Calle La Purisima and Via Barcelona. The informant reported that illegal fireworks were being shot off in the area. 

At 2:10 p.m. Sunday, deputies arrested a 68-year-old woman near Ortega Highway. The woman was arrested for driving a vehicle with an excessive blood alcohol content. She was taken into near the S&R liquor store. She was cited and released for the offense.
