Deputies Stop Bleeding Driver, Suspect Hit and Run

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a graffiti incident, a thief gets away with two car seats, and a possible overdose victim.

At 10:46 p.m. Thursday Jan. 16, deputies stopped a car near the cross streets of Camino La Ronda and La Novia Avenue. The driver of the car was bleeding profusely after crashing into another vehicle and fleeing the scene. Deputies also discovered the man was drunk while driving. The 62-year-old man was arrested and is currently in custody with no bail amount posted.

At 8:32 a.m. Friday Jan. 17, a caller reported vandalism in the 30900 block of Avenida De La Vista. The caller said an unknown gang had spray-painted an alleyway.

At 9:42 a.m. Saturday Jan. 18, someone called deputies to report a burglary in the 30300 block of Marbella Vista. The caller said an unknown thief stole two car seats.

At 11:48 a.m. Saturday Jan. 18, a worried caller reported a suspicious person in a vehicle near the cross streets of Camino Capistrano and Del Obispo Street. The caller said the person appeared to have overdosed on drugs. Orange County firefighters arrived to help the individual.
