Deputies Find Drugs During Bike Stop

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a chunk of wood obstructs traffic, a woman's ex-husband threatens her and a graffiti vandalism.

At 11:18 p.m. Monday Aug. 19 during a bike stop, authorities arrested a 22-year-old man for alleged possession of drugs near the cross streets of Alipaz and Del Obispo streets. The man has since been released from jail.

Also:

At 3:27 p.m. Monday, someone called the sheriff’s department to report a traffic hazard near the cross streets of Camino Del Avion and Del Obispo Street. A large piece of wood was obstructing the road.

At 6:22 p.m. Monday, a caller told deputies about threats she had received in the 32300 block of Alipaz Street. The informant claimed her ex-husband had been contacting her and making threats via the phone.

At 7:04 p.m. Monday, an informant warned authorities about a vandalism in progress near the cross streets of La Zanja and Los Rios Street. The caller said someone was tagging an entire wall.
