Two Men Abscond with a License Plate
SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also trouble-causing teens throw pine cones in a country club, a man is found with illegal drugs and a caller sees two men allegedly smoking illegal substances.
At 10:53 a.m. Thursday Jan. 2, a caller reported a stolen license plate in the 33900 block of Doheny Park Road. An employee witnessed two unknown men in a white Dodge Ram steal a license plate from a car.

At 10:10 p.m. Thursday Jan. 2, someone reported a disturbance in the 30800 block of Golf Club Drive. A group of teens was hiding in the Marbella Golf & Country Club and throwing pine cones at buildings.
At 7:49 a.m. Friday Jan. 3, a caller asked deputies to check a suspicious pedestrian in the 32300 block of Alipaz Street. Deputies arrived and discovered the man had illegal drugs with him. The 39-year-old was arrested and has since been released after his bond was posted.
At 4:54 p.m. Friday Jan. 3, a caller told deputies about two suspicious men in a pick up truck near the cross streets of Paseo Del Puerto and Avenida California. The caller suspected the two men were smoking illegal drugs. No arrest was made.
