Vehicle Reported Stolen, But Really Just Misplaced

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a person sings too annoyingly, an assist to firefighters and medicinal marijuana.

These are selected reports from the San Juan Capistrano Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days. The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.

At 11:45 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a non-injury traffic accident near the intersection of Del Obispo Street and Camino Del Avion. The report stated that a black BMW had collided with a black Toyota Rav4

At 9:42 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 2700 block of Calle Arroyo. The informant was reportedly disturbed by a subject who was loudly singing inside the 24 Hour Fitness.

At 1 p.m. Sunday, a caller in the 27700 block of the Ortega Highway reported a stolen vehicle. The vehicle had gone missing while parked near the city recreation center. It was later reported the informant was previously intoxicated and simply forgot he had left the vehicle in San Diego

At 4:45 p.m. Saturday, deputies assisted firefighters in the 26500 block of Calle San Luis. The reported stated firefighters forcibly entered a residence and gave a subject CPR

At 10:31 p.m. Friday, deputies conducted a traffic stop near the Ortega Highway-El Camino Real intersection. The vehicle was searched and less than an ounce of medical marijuana was found. There was no report of an arrest.
