Public Meeting on San Onofre Nuclear Plant Drill

From April 12 to 14, officials at the San Onofre nuclear power plant will simulate a radioactive release from the plant, how to shut the plant down and secure radioactive fuel. About 200 people will be involved.

In this public meeting, officials from FEMA and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission will discuss their findings.

This drill was planned months before the quake in Japan crippled a nuclear power plant there.
