Water Is on the Agenda Again Tuesday in San Juan Capistrano

From the city of San Juan Capistrano.

The City of San Juan Capistrano will be hosting a second Water Forum on Tuesday, February 11th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the San Juan Capistrano Community Center located at 25925 Camino Del Avion for those residents that did not have the chance to attend the Forum held on December 10th.

This is a great opportunity to share your input and to ask questions about your water supply, water and sewer rates, and water use efficiency with water industry professionals and City staff in a booth and exhibit style forum. We encourage your input and feedback regarding the upcoming water and sewer rate study that is underway and expected to be completed by spring.

For further information or questions regarding the event contact Cathy Salcedo at 949-443-6317 or csalcedo@sanjuancapistrano.org\.

Didn't the Superior Court already give their opinion ? What did Sam Allevato vote to do? Well, file an appeal of the courts decision. So when they say, that the city welcomes input, that is not entirely true is it?

ANOTHER watered down, propaganda filled water forum. Do you think the city will mention our illegal water rates and bills? Do you think the city will mention the $100,000,000 inevitable cost to fix the money pit they call the Ground Water Recovery Plant? How much will this "event" cost the taxpayers? Notice how these forums popped up only after the birth of the www.RecallSam.com effort. And don't forget Larry Kramer and John Taylor are coming up for reelection. Do you think these three council majority members are trying to cover their butts??

One has to ask the question, why do Kramer, Taylor and Allevato cling to those seats on the city council?. It can't be the salary. Who benefits? Cover their butts? From litigation expenses? Power? No doubt the minister of propaganda will be there to mislead.

No one went to the last water forum. Why should they go to this one. It's just a scam to make people think Sam Allevato has it under control. He doesn't. He's desperately not wanting to be recalled. He lies. I've heard him.

Can we bring our own posters showing the water seeping from the ocean into the ground water system?
Sunshine February 11, 2014 at 01:36 PM
Go for it Donna! Have you walked your neighborhood to get Recall signatures?? :)
Donna Fleming February 11, 2014 at 01:51 PM
No, but I will. I need the forms. A couple of friends and neighbors want to sign.
Sunshine February 14, 2014 at 01:32 AM
Donna, go to www.RecallSam.com and you can download petition on legal size paper to sign and mail in or give to Alvin at Von's. :). Please get all the signatures you can.
