Capo Superintendent Picks up Side Job

Joseph Farley will be doing some consulting work on the weekends and vacation time.

The superintendent of the Capistrano Unified School District is picking up a part-time job, foretelling his upcoming retirement.

In an email to trustees sent out last week, Farley informed them that, starting next month, he’ll be using some vacation and weekend time to consult for a Chicago-based educational recruitment firm.

Farley was hired in May 2010 to serve a four-year contract. He told the Orange County Register he has no immediate plans to retire.
