Scholar athlete awards were presented recently to 36 student-athletes at Capistrano Valley Christian School for their outstanding efforts in the classroom and on the playng field during the fall sports season.
Scholar athletes must letter in a varsity sport and maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 during their sport season. During the fall, 51 percent of the school's fall sports participantes were named scholar athletes.
