Ortega Construction: Closure Schedule for Nov. 17-23

Another full closure of the I-5 Freeway at Ortega Highway is only a couple of weeks away, Dec. 6 and 7. Until then, here’s what Caltrans says we have to contend with this week while workers construct a new interchange in San Juan Capistrano.

Ramp Closures:

Northbound I-5 off-ramp to Ortega Highway closed nightly between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. tonight through Thursday

Northbound I-5 onramp from Ortega Highway closed nightly between 11:59 p.m. and 5 a.m, Monday through Thursday

Southbound I-5 off-ramp to Ortega Highway closed nightly between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. tonight through Thursday

Southbound I-5 onramp from Ortega Highway closed nightly between 11:59 p.m. and 5 a.m. Monday  through Thursday

Lane Closures:

Lane closures on the northbound I-5 Freeway between Camino Capistrano and Junipero Serra Road nightly between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. tonight through Thursday

Lane closures on the southbound I-5 Freeway between Junipero Serra Road and Camino Capistrano nightly between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday
