Hi Alberto,

I really enjoy reading your writing. It's clear, concise and logical. Never forget that English is a language you can dance with because we have many words that mean the same thing, but they provoke different reactions. :) That's the fun part.

I hope you keep blogging for the Patch. Pete, the editor, has asked me to reach out to the bloggers in case they need anything like help or encouragement.

Hi Alberto,

I am working on a feature film that is helping a great cause as well as offering people the opportunity to get involved with the film. I think this would be a great story to write about and tell people. I just wanted to pass this along. …Or If it’s not too much trouble, pledge on something (they are offering great things!) and if you can also please pass this along to your friends.

If I can help you out with anything or the production can help you with anything, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Here is the link for the film:

The raw data is on the first sheet of that 2-page spreadsheet (you can click to view either page). That data is copied exactly from the Registrar of Voter's website where the final results of the election were posted.

Feel free to cross-check the figures.

We'll find out ef these trends are repeated on Tuesday. Regardless of the outcome, if the vote is close, will you acknowledge that it was good to have the question decided by voters?

Remember, about 2000 people signed those petitions to bring about the election. That's about 30 percent of the votes necessary to win a seat on the City Council.

The argument about "lies" will be applied regardless of the result. We should set that aside and consider what the voters are actually trying to say.
